Our Pom/Dance camp is a dynamic, action packed program combining dance, hip hop, jumps, cheers and chants for campers aged 7-18. Whether you are a high school advanced Pom team member looking for a routine to take back to your team for football season or a beginner, looking to learn the basics and fundamentals of Pom, our program is designed to develop confidence, enthusiasm, motivation and leadership. Campers will learn and practice the fundamentals of the sport including Russians (Toe-touches), C-Jumps, leaps, and turns, as well as practice proper technique for kickline and splits. The morning will consist of a warm up routine, practicing the fundamentals and techniques of pom and dance, as well as team building exercises. In the afternoon, campers will learn and practice two routines that they will perform on the last day of camp for friends and family members. All campers will leave with a CD containing the music of the warm up routine, and the routines learned at camp, in addition to write ups of the routines with counts so campers would be able to take this routine and teach it to a team or group that they are on, if needed.
