Spend a week with Dr. Ted Gish, Associate Professor of Chemistry at Madonna University, exploring the historic grounds of Orchard Lake. Join Dr. Gish and his staff as you walk the mysterious Apple Island and visit the watery depths of Orchard Lake. Campers are encouraged to develop scientific curiosity at an early age. • Apple Island Adventure - Tour the historic Apple Island
• Archeological Dig - Look for arrow heads and bones from past native sites
• Wiz Bang (Chemistry)- Dry Ice, Potato Gun and more
• Boat Adventure (Lake) - Look beneath the waters of Orchard Lake for treasure and creatures

Join us for some good old fashioned summertime fun. Each daily activity will have children participate in developmentally appropriate activities facilitated by teachers knowledgeable in building: social skills, conflict resolution skills, self-esteem while also building on age appropriate academic skills. These activities will be presented in a manner that will enhance a love of learning while fostering ownership of learning in each of it’s participants. 

Each Week’s theme will give us direction for our daily activities which will include arts and crafts, outdoor games, wacky water play, brain teasers, wild west, space and much, much more. Camp is limited; please register early to secure a spot. Campers will utilize the Orchard Lake Academic Center and various facilities on campus.

Ages: Group 1 - 3yrs. Old to Prekindergarten
Group 2 - Kindergarten to Grade 2
Group 3 - Grade 3 to Grade 6

The Orchard Lake St. Mary’s State Championship Hockey Summer Program is a combination of intensity and discipline in training which focuses on the individual aspects of the game. Utilizing the state of the art hockey complex, campers will be challenged daily by Head Coach Brian Klanow and his staff. The hockey camps will focus on specific areas which include technique, strength training, conditioning and the mental attitude to be successful. Players at any level will show measurable results before the camp closes. Camp is limited; please register early to secure a spot.

Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Basketball Coach George Porritt helps campers learn about themselves through the roller coaster experiences with sports while providing an excellent role model along with the coaches and counselors hired to work at any of the camps.
