Join us for good old-fashioned summertime fun. Each daily activity will have children participate in developmentally appropriate activities facilitated by teachers knowledgeable in building; social skills, conflict resolution skills, self-esteem while also building on academic skills. These activities will be presented in a manner that will enhance a love of learning while fostering ownership of learning in each of its participants. Each week’s theme will give us direction for our daily activities which will include arts & crafts designed to develop creativity and personal style, cooking, outdoor games and a variety of activities guaranteed to give today’s children a little taste of yesterday’s summer.

June 28 - July 2 Native America – featured activities: art, Native American games, (kachina dolls, dream catchers, pottery, bow and arrows, tomahawks, totem poles, tents … mud-pies, plant flowers and outside play.
July 5 - July 9 Celebrate America – A little bit of everything. Native America and Fourth of July will be specific topics. Featured activities: art, Native American games, (kachina dolls, dream catchers, pottery, bow and arrows, tomahawks, totem poles, tents … mud-pies, plant flowers and outside play) and Fourth of July activities
July 12-July 16 Medieval Times/Pirates – Featured activities will include treasure maps (creation, reading and following), shields, crests and treasure chests.
July 19-July 23 Harry Potter – Featured activities include: sorting into houses, Quidditch, potions, arts and crafts(wands, brooms and wizard capes)
July 26- July 30 Olympics – Nothing but sports. Featured activities: team sports, individual competitions, award ceremonies, arts and crafts (flags, creation of team uniform).
August 2-August 6 A Blast from the Past – Just like Grandma and Grandpa used to do. Featured activities: weaving, whittling, knitting, fort building, homemade noodles, beading, tree climbing, kick-the-can.
